Fans of the popular musician Bekezela, now known as Gog’ Bekezela, are in for a memorable musical experience on October 5, 2024, at the Bulawayo Theatre. 

This live concert is one of his first major performances in the city following his transformation into Gog’ Bekezela.

In a recent appearance on the podcast Enkundleni Exclusive, Gog’ Bekezela shared insights into his new artistic direction. “After returning from the initiation process, I re-entered the music scene with a different purpose. I am no longer just an entertainer; I am now an educator. My role has evolved into one of promoting and preserving our culture,” he explained.

The upcoming concert is designed to educate through music, promising to deliver an enlightening and powerful experience. Gog’ Bekezela is not only recognized as a musician but also as a life coach and spiritual guide. 

Archford Hadebe of DAB Three Events emphasized, “This show aims to highlight his transformation and journey. We want to use this platform to inspire people and celebrate our African heritage.”

In a conversation with Dab Three Media, Gog’ Bekezela emphasized the importance of the event for his brand. “This concert is significant because it will help address some of the questions surrounding my rebirth. While not all questions will be answered in one go, this is just the beginning of a series of shows where we’ll continue to explore these themes,” he said.

Gog’ Bekezela has been warmly received in South Africa, where he is currently preparing for a festival featuring performances alongside renowned South African artists like Zola 7, Ntando, and DJ Cleo.

Tickets are affordably priced at $5 for general admission and $10 for front-row VIP seats.
