Musician, songwriter, and cultural educator Gog’ Bekezela is set to captivate audiences in Bulawayo with his upcoming musical showcase, “The Journey of a Gobela.”

The award-winning artist, formerly known as Bekezela, will take the stage at the Bulawayo Theatre for an exclusive, one-night-only performance on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

After a hiatus from the music scene, Gog’ Bekezela has reemerged, not just as an entertainer but as an educator, using his platform to promote and preserve African culture. This concert promises to be a transformative experience, with a body of work designed to educate through music, offering both enlightenment and entertainment.

Gog’ Bekezela, who has also gained recognition as a life coach and spiritual guide, recently made a notable appearance at the 2024 Bulawayo Arts Festival, where he delivered a stunning performance, supported by the talented Great Stars Injongosi.

In an interview with Dab Three Media, the musician emphasized the significance of this show for his evolving brand. “This concert is crucial as it will address some of the questions surrounding my rebirth. While not all answers will be provided at once, this marks the beginning of a series of performances where we’ll explore these themes further,” he explained.

The show, a collaboration between Gobela Music and DAB Three Events, will run from 6 PM to 9 PM. Tickets are available at an accessible price of $5 for general admission and $10 for front-row VIP seats.
